Physical and Marksmanship Proficiency
The Tactical Games is an emerging sport that creates a combined test of functional fitness and marksmanship capabilities. Although new to many of us this concept has been around since the late 17th century . Known as the biathlon, the olympic sport of cross-country skiing and rifle shooting emerged from Norwegian military training. Due to the climate and terrain it made sense to equip soldiers with skis and rifles. At the time Norwegian “skier companies” were deployed to patrol their northern borders separating them from neighboring Sweden. Even at that time there was a known distinction between practical shooting and range shooting. Practical shooting encompassing the demands of time constraints and physical exertion and their effects on marksmanship.
Today due to our geographical region we have different physical challenges yet the philosophy of practical shooting can still be applied.
To achieve practical shooting excellance an individual must be physically and marksmanship proficient.
Unlike other training programs, WDT training provides both in one easy to follow plan.
